Employee Health Fair

Oneida Nation employees and their families recently attended the 2009 Employee Health and Wellness Fair, held at Turning Stone Resort and Casino.

From Rome Memorial Hospital to the American Red Cross, to local spas and dietary programs, the fair gives employees and families a chance to access many different profesionals and services during one event.

"We've been doing this for about 10 years," Sharlene Lascelles (Bear Clan), Employee Programs Coordinator, said. "The primary goal is to allow employees the opportunity to learn and get information about programs and services that companies within the community have."

This year 84 vendors participated in the event and plans are in the works to expand the fair for next year. An estimated 900 people attended.
