Oneida Nation Representative Ray Halbritter Presents Employees with Dreamcatcher Pins, Extending a Piece of Nation Culture as a Symbol of Gratitude

Five years at Oneida Nation Enterprises can see a lot of transformations, growth and advancements. Five years ago, the addition of TS Steakhouse began the culinary transformation that most recently brought six new restaurants with the new Food Hall.

While a lot can happen in five years, a large number of faces have remained the same. More than 160 Nation employees recently celebrated five years of service with a celebration in their honor. A generous spread of all the Resort favorites were served during the Taste of Turning Stone themed luncheon including musical entertainment and decadent desserts.

There have been many achievements and successes and there will continue to be so during the next five years, said Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter, as he addressed Nation Enterprises employees. “And we are doing it all together. Our success would not be possible without you and all who have been with us since we opened in 1993. You are what makes this property so unique and special.”

After lunch, Halbritter presented the five-year honorees with a dreamcatcher service award pin and a service award feather containing a sapphire gemstone. This pin represents the Nation’s commitment to its employees, as well as recognizes each individual for their commitment, hard work and loyalty.

Gifts continue through the years for dedicated employees. On the 10th anniversary employees receive a service award feather with an onyx gemstone and 15 year honorees receive a feather featuring a ruby. At 20 years a feather with an emerald is added to the employee pin, a diamond signifies 25 years and an amethyst represents 30 years of service with the Oneida Nation.

The employees that reach the 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year milestone also receive a gift selection brochure with twenty-four different gift options, including jewelry, TVs and other valuable electronics as another symbol of appreciation and thanks for their dedication with the Nation.
