Children's Choir

Jasmine Rood (Turtle Clan) and Aliyah Frederick (Turtle Clan) were the first to sign up for the Oneida’s Children’s Choir. Oneida children, aged 6 to 12, who join the choir will learn several songs in the Oneida language and will perform at various Nation events and functions. Birdy Burdick (Turtle Clan) is overseeing the choir with the help of Penny Raymond (Turtle Clan, not pictured), an Oneida language instructor. The group practiced at the Shako:wi Cultural Center.
