The Oneida Nation's True Spirit of Thanksgiving appeared again in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®. The float was the first sponsored by an American Indian nation.

The 85th annual parade featured Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) dancers and Oneidas in traditional regalia. New York Yankees pitcher and role model for Native American youth Joba Chamberlain was the special guest.

In 2010 the float featured Country singer Crystal Shawanda (Ojibwe) who sang "Our Country," a song composed specifically for the parade. The song was made available through the Apple I-Tunes store with a portion of the proceeds going toward HELP USA and the American Indian Empowerment Fund.
