Personalized Travel

The Oneida Indian Nation Elders will now make their presence known on the highways and byways of central New York.

Based on encouragement from Members, Jane Rooney, program coordinator, contacted the Nation’s purchasing and graphic departments to come up with a design to personalize the Elders’ bus. “Our Elders, although excited about having a new bus, suggested that we design it to make it our own,” she explained.

Jane worked with Carrie LoGalbo, graphic designer, who had previously worked on bus wraps for Turning Stone Resort and Casino vehicles.

“Jane was pretty clear on what she wanted,” Carrie said. “We kept the design simple and clean.”

The new design features the Oneida Belt and Nation Logo at the front of the bus, with images of the three clans -- Turtle, Wolf, and Bear -- and the words “Oneida Indian Nation Elders” on each side of the bus. Installation, by Image Press, took approximately 90-minutes to complete.
