About the Oneida Nation Foundation

A Mission to Promote Education, Understanding and a Higher Quality of Life

The Oneida Nation Foundation builds on the Oneida people’s long tradition of sharing our resources with others to benefit those with us today as well as the generations yet to come. Our mission is to promote education, understanding and a higher quality of life for Oneida Members, American Indians and society at large.

We do this by supporting charitable and civic causes and by working with other governments to bring needed services to local, national and international communities. This tradition allows the Oneida Nation and its partners to make meaningful contributions to the betterment of our world.

The Oneida Indian Nation culture and philosophy has always been to be a good friend and ally. In all decision making we are instructed by our Creator to consider the effect of our decisions upon the seventh generation to the future.

Staying true to the principles of our grandfathers and grandmothers, the Oneida Nation Council established the Oneida Nation Foundation (ONF) to enhance the quality of life for those who live and work on Turtle Island.

We regret that due to the large volume of appeals, the Foundation does not accept unsolicited donation requests and does not respond to telephone or email inquiries. Thank you for your cooperation.
