The Oneida Nation Elders are holding a Craft and Bake Sale on Friday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Ray Elm Children & Elders Center, Oneida. The sale is open to the public.
Grand prize drawings include a 42” smart TV, Kindle Fire and $100 in lottery tickets. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from the Elders at the Children & Elders Center through Oct. 20.
The sale includes native crafts and jewelry, including No Face Dolls, quilts, blankets, decorative pillows and cases, hot pads, t-shirts, sweatshirts, soaps and birdhouses. Baskets include items from Shako:wi Cultural Center and Oneida Heritage and a diabetes care basket.
Preview vendor’s baskets and donations from Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Children & Elders Center lobby. Prize drawings will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 20. Winners do not need to be present.
