Oneida Nation Offers Free Public Lacrosse Program

Males Age 16 and Older Welcome to Maintain Lacrosse Skills

The Oneida Indian Nation Recreation Department hosts a free fall lacrosse program for males age 16 and older. The public is welcome to attend the program November 4 through December 30.

The non-contact scrimmages run 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Sunday at the Oneida Nation Gym on Territory Road in Oneida. The program is designed to assist players in maintaining basic lacrosse skills such as passing, catching, and shooting as well as defensive and offensive strategy. Players must provide their own lacrosse stick, gloves, shoulder pads, athletic supporter, and helmet.

Waiver forms must be completed by each participant before the first session. Players under age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver form in order to participate in the lacrosse program.
