TS Steakhouse Marks First Step in Dining TransformationNewest Turning Stone Restaurant Opens to the Public November 14
Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter joined Elizabeth Blau, founder of the acclaimed strategic restaurant planning company Blau + Associates of Las Vegas, to announce November 14 as the public opening date of the new TS Steakhouse at Turning Stone Resort Casino. The restaurant, on the 21st floor of the Turning Stone Tower Hotel, offers beautiful panoramic views of the countryside and marks the first step in the Resort’s plan to bring new, dynamic, and world-class dining choices to Central New York under the guidance of Blau + Associates.
Halbritter said, “Earlier this year, we completed an in-depth market study to learn what our guests want the most. They overwhelmingly told us that they want new and exciting dining experiences right here in Central New York. Elizabeth Blau’s vision, energy, and world-class experience will help deliver to Turning Stone exactly what our guests and the Central New York community want to enjoy.” Blau served a key role in helping transform Las Vegas into a world-class culinary destination. Blau was Vice President of Restaurant Development for Steve Wynn’s Mirage Resorts, and she worked with Wynn management to create an unrivaled food and beverage program at Wynn Las Vegas. She has also served as a judge on Food Network’s Iron Chef America and has been featured on the Travel Channel and the Martha Stewart Show. Blau + Associates’ client list is a who’s who of the best culinary experiences in the country, including Ritz Carlton Hotels and Resorts, Wynn Resorts, Trump Casinos, Celebrity Cruises, Destination Hotels and Resorts, the Kor Group, One and Only Resorts, Montage Resorts, Paragon Gaming, and Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, among many others. Elizabeth Blau said, “Turning Stone has put together a great group of restaurants, and we hope to build on this foundation to create a range of outlets that are a must-see destination for anyone traveling in the region. Look out for some exciting new concepts and continued renovations and updates to the existing favorites.” Featured menu items at TS Steakhouse include a Mixed Raw Bar Tower, Native Corn and Clam Chowder, influenced by the Oneida Indian culture of “eating the seasons”, Wagyu New York Strip Steak, and a Seven Layer Chocolate Cake.
