Raccoon & Crawfish Captures Fourteenth Festival Win
The Four Directions Productions’ eight-minute 3D animated short has captured its fourteenth film festival win. This time Raccoon & Crawfish, the Oneida legend brought to life through animation, has won “Best Animation” at the Guild of Italian American Actors Festival of Short Films and Videos, scheduled for Oct. 4-5 in New York City.
Since its debut at the Syracuse Film Festival in April 2007, “Raccoon and Crawfish” has placed in 47 film festivals in the United States, as well as in six festivals outside this country. Its wins include the prestigious Moondance Festival in Hollywood, the Okanagan Film Festival in British Columbia and the International Film Festival of England. In addition, it was screened at the renowned Cannes Festival in France this past May. Four Directions Productions is a 3D animation/HD cinematography studio.
