Indian Country Today Unveils Annual Gaming Publication

Indian Country Today (ICT), a national American Indian multimedia publisher, recently launched its inaugural edition of Indian Country Gaming Today magazine. This new annual publication joins four other glossy magazines the paper already produces that focus on destinations, business, pow wows and education in Indian Country. In addition to being sent to subscribers, the new magazine will also be readily available at the Global Gaming Expo & Conference in Las Vegas, Nov. 18-20.

"There has been a real need for a publication that focuses on Indian gaming from a Native perspective and a journalistic angle," said Randi Rourke, editor of Indian Country Today. "There is a lack of news coverage about the impact of gaming on Indian people, their cultures and communities. ICT provides an insider view of Indian gaming and what it means to Native people."

Indian Country Today is part of the Oneida Nation’s Four Directions Media, a group of enterprises that also includes Four Directions Productions, a 3D animation/HD cinematography studio; First Allies, a historical production company; Standing Stone Records; and Four Directions Talent, a clearinghouse for American Indian artists in the film and television industry.
