Federal Employees Learn More About The Oneida Indian Nation

In recognition of American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month, the Rome Defense Finance and Accounting Services conducted a special program for nearly 300 of its employees on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The hour-long program focused on a theme of “Living in Many Worlds.” Participating were Haudenosaunee dancers and Kandice Watson, director of Education and Cultural Relations for the Oneida Indian Nation, who talked about the Nation’s many programs designed to empower members to better themselves and future generations.
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service is based at the Rome Business and Technology Park, formerly Griffiss Air Force Base.
