Oneida Nation Awards $4.7 Million in Bonuses
The Oneida Indian Nation recently distributed more than $4.7 million in bonuses to nearly 4,600 employees. The bonus money--$1.1 million more than last year-- was paid to all eligible salaried and hourly employees in the Nation’s government and enterprise operations.
The incentive checks are a way for the Oneidas to express appreciation for the excellent efforts their dedicated workforce makes toward the continued success of the Nation and its enterprises. The bonuses, which were awarded at the start of the holiday shopping season, will have significant economic benefits throughout greater Central New York and beyond. The Oneida Nation is the largest employer in Oneida and Madison counties, and one of the top five employers in the 16-county region of Central New York.
