Turning Stone Gets High Marks From Golfweek

All three championship golf courses at Turning Stone Resort are among the finest in the country, according to Golfweek magazine. Atunyote, Kaluhyat and Shenendoah all placed on the publication’s new 2009 list of “Best 100 Resort Courses.”

Golfweek relies on a team of 500 volunteer course raters who evaluate layouts on several criteria, including the strategic variety and memorability of holes, conditioning of the course and the natural setting of the site.

Turning Stone has traditionally scored well among the magazine’s discerning panel. In addition to the latest tribute, the three coursesy are listed in Golfweek’s “Best 25 Casino Courses.” Atunyote, home of the PGA TOUR’s Turning Stone Resort Championship, was cited among the “Best 40 Tour Courses You Can Play,” which considers public-access venues that host the PGA, LPGA, Champions or Nationwide tours.
