Raccoon & Crawfish to Compete at Festivals in Wisconsin and Arizona
The Oneida Indian Nation’s Four Directions Media has heard that Raccoon & Crawfish, its award-winning 3D animated short has been accepted into two more international film festivals—one in Beloit, WI and the other in Sedona, AZ. Raccoon & Crawfish has competed in 78 film festivals in this country and abroad so far with 17 first place honors. First screened at the Syracuse International Film Festival (April 2007), Raccoon & Crawfish has been seen by film festival audiences in 29 states and six countries beyond this country, including being screened at the world renowned Cannes Festival in France. Produced by the Nation’s own animation team, this high end production is an ancient Oneida legend brought to life through 3D animation.
