AAA Western and Central New York announced its 2009 AAA Four Diamond Awards on Thursday, June 4 during a ceremony at the New York Wine & Culinary Center in Canandaigua. Three Turning Stone Resort and Casino properties were once again bestowed the prestigious Four Diamond designation. The Lodge at Turning Stone was honored for the fourth year in a row, followed by the Tower at Turning Stone for its third year. Wildflowers at Turning Stone, located at The Lodge, was one of only three restaurants in the AAA region to get the Four Diamond rating.
In New York State, there are 41 AAA Four Diamond accommodation winners. Only 17 are located outside of New York City, in Upstate New York. Of the 48 AAA Four Diamond restaurants, 11 are in Upstate New York.
