Fire Chiefs Gather at Turning Stone Resort for FIRE 2009
Equipment began arriving from across New York State and throughout the Northeast on Wednesday afternoon in preparation for FIRE 2009 (Fire Industry, Rescue, & EMS Expo), the 103rd Annual Conference & Expo of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs (NYSAFC). Fire and emergency services personnel are meeting at Turning Stone Resort and Casino through Saturday.
While thousands of attendees are expected, the public from the area is also invited to view a wide array of industry displays, including fire trucks, ambulances, public safety equipment, the latest firefighting technologies, educational products, and much more Exhibit hours are Thursday, June 11: 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 12: 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 13: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. A One Day Ticket for entrance to the exhibits can be purchased for $5.00 on-site during exhibit hours. Children aged 15 and under can enter the exhibits for free.
