Pro Boxing at Turning Stone – Friday, Feb. 26

Professional boxing returns to Turning Stone Resort and Casino on Friday, Feb. 26 with an exciting boxing card. Pro Boxing Fight Night gets underway at 7:30 p.m. in the Event Center.

The Main Event is a ten-round middleweight contest pitting undefeated knock-out sensation Isaac Rodriques (16-0, 13 KOs) of Brazil against Brian Vera (16-3, 10 KOs) of Austin, Texas. Vera gained fame on NBC’s “The Contender.”

Mike Faragon (9-0, 3 KOs), born in Syracuse and now residing in Guilderland, will be featured in a six-round lightweight match.

Several other combatants from New York’s Capital District are scheduled to compete; Lightweight Brian Miller (6-0-3, 2 KOs) and middleweight Markus Williams (3-1, 1 KO), both hailing from Schenectady; Troy middleweight Broderick Antoine (9-8-1, 4 KOs); and Albany heavyweight Reggie Scott making his professional debut.

The evening’s lone female bout features Brooklyn’s Amanda Serrano (4-0-1, 3 KOs), who was named “Female Rookie of the Year” by the WBAN.
