Local Couple Engaged on Carriage Ride at The Lodge at Turning Stone
On Valentine’s Day, Ryan Sheedy, 31, of Canastota became engaged to Kimberly Moher, 29, of Sherrill during The Lodge at Turning Stone’s Chocolate Indulgence event. The staff at The Lodge assisted Ryan with his proposal preparations that included a horse-drawn carriage ride of the resort property, which is when he popped the question.
Located 30 miles east of Syracuse at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, The Lodge was just named “most excellent golf resort” in North America by Condé Nast Johansens and “most excellent resort” in North America in 2007. The 95-all suite Lodge is adjacent to Skana, a luxury spa that combines modern treatments with Oneida Indian healing principles.
