First Allies Provide Artillery Support for 1812 Overture
Members of the Oneida Nation’s First Allies Living History Group recently accompanied the Syracuse Symphony’s performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture at Fort Stanwix during Honor America Days. The event held in the city of Rome attracted a crowd that numbered in the thousands and concluded with a gigantic fireworks display illuminating the night sky over Fort Stanwix on July 31.
