Iroquois Nationals Edge Team USA in The Bowhunter Cup
The Iroquois Nationals defeated Team USA 14-13 in The Bowhunter Cup held in the Event Center at the Oneida Nation’s Turning Stone Resort Casino.
The game lived up to its billing as a friendly, yet competitive, match featuring two of the world’s powerhouses in the sport of lacrosse. There were several lead changes, and neither team ever led by more than two goals. Team USA had a 12-11 advantage at the end of the third quarter, but the Nationals rallied in the fourth frame with three straight goals to go ahead for good.
The Iroquois Nationals are now 4-1 all-time against Team USA in indoor competition.
