Nation Hosts Picnic for Thousands of Employees and Guests
The Oneida Indian Nation’s annual employee picnic recently drew many of its 4,500 employees and their families. For the event, held this year at the Nation’s Peaceful Pines campground , the Food & Beverage Department at Turning Stone Resort Casino with the help of many employee volunteer served: more than 3,500 burgers with buns; more than 3,500 hot dogs and buns; about 2,000 chicken breasts; about 2,000 links of sausage; 600 pounds of salad greens; 1,000 pounds of strawberry topping; 72,000 clams; and more than 8,000 bottles of water.
