SavOn Convenience Stores Oneida Lake SāvOn Offers Motorists Non-Ethanol GasolineStore Joins Oneida Nation Marinas with Ethanol-Free Fuel
Just in time for the street cruising, yard work, and boating season, the Oneida Lake SāvOn Store at State Routes 13 & 31 has started offering non-ethanol gasoline. The SāvOn Store joins the nearby Marion Manor Marina and Mariner’s Landing Marina as Oneida Lake-area sellers of non-ethanol fuel.
The non-ethanol gasoline at the Oneida Lake SāvOn is available at the back islands of the store in 87, 89, and 91 octane. The front islands still feature ethanol-added fuel. The marinas offer 89 octane non-ethanol gasoline. SāvOn Stores Operations Director Sean Brown said, “At SāvOn, we are always looking for ways to meet the needs of our guests. Making non-ethanol fuel available is just one step of the SāvOn Stores evolution to provide a convenient shopping experience and a wider range of products.” Since the introduction of ethanol-blended fuels, many have struggled with fuel separation during storage and in wet environments as well as poor engine performance. Non-ethanol fuel is popular with boaters and people who own ATVs, snowmobiles, and classic cars. Homeowners also like this fuel for small engine machinery like lawnmowers and chainsaws.
