Oneida Nation Delegation Visits Navajo Nation

In early September, leaders from the Oneida Indian Nation traveled to the Navajo Nation in Arizona. Their trip included a welcoming dinner, discussion of issues, a Navajo Nation Council Recognition Session of the Oneida Nation, tours of the Navajo Nation Lands, a Navajo Nation parade, an arts and craft show, and a rodeo at the Navajo Fairgrounds. The Oneida Nation delegation for the government-to-government get together included Nation Representative and CEO of Nation Enterprises Ray Halbritter and Council Members Chuck Fougnier, Clint Hill, Dale Rood and Brian Patterson.

In July, a delegation from the Navajo Nation headed by Vice President Rex Lee Jim journeyed to Central New York to visit the Nation and meet with Oneida Nation leaders about issues of mutual concern.
