Volunteers Key to Tournament Success
Red shirts are everywhere at the Turning Stone Resort Championship this year. They are the volunteers and there are about 1,100 of them. It takes this entire block of people working in tandem to make a major event like this come together. The volunteers makes things—from those in involved in scoring to those that shuttle professional golfers to media interviews. The Turning Stone Resort Championship runs through Sun., Aug. 8, at the Oneida Nation’s Atunyote Golf Club on Nation lands near Vernon, NY.
