Turning Stone Scores Three in Golfweek’s Best Resort Courses - 11/23/09
All three championship courses at the Oneida Indian Nation’s Turning Stone Resort are included in Golfweek’s 2010 list of "Best Resort Courses," marking the third consecutive year that Atunyote, Kaluhyat and Shenendoah have earned spots on the publication’s honor roll.
With three entries in the top 100, Turning Stone is a member of an exclusive club, equaling Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, Whistling Straits and Bandon Dunes. Golfweek’s raters judge courses on a variety of criteria, including natural setting, quality of conditioning and landscape management. In addition to the latest rankings, Turning Stone’s courses are included in Golfweek’s list of “Best Casino Courses.” Atunyote Golf Club, home of the Turning Stone Resort Championship, is among the “Best Tour Courses You Can Play,” which honors quality public-access venues that host the PGA, LPGA, Champions or Nationwide tours.
