Main Tapped as Golf Course Superintendent at Turning Stone Resort - 9/6/11
Scott Main has been named superintendent of Kaluhyat and Shenendoah Golf Clubs at Turning Stone Resort Casino.
Before joining Turning Stone, Main was superintendent at Twin Creeks Country Club in Cedar Park, Texas, and he previously held the position at Fazio Canyons at Barton Creek Resort, Spa and Country Club in Austin, Texas and at the South Course at Mission Hills Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Main earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Agronomy at The Ohio State University and an associate degree in Turf Management from the university’s Agricultural Technical Institute. He is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the United States Golf Association. Both Kaluhyat, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., and Shenendoah, a Rick Smith design, are Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuaries.
