Oneida Nation Hosts Kids’ Day - 7/7/10
Oneida Nation Government Program and Services sponsored its 17th annual Kids’ Day at the Ray Elm Children and Elders Center. Participants took part in activities designed to encourage physical fitness, balanced nutrition and sportsmanship.
Ray Halbritter, Oneida Nation Representative and CEO of Nation Enterprises as well as a PGA Apprentice, hosted a golf clinic as part of the festivities. Other instructors included Turning Stone Resort Director of Golf Robert Todd and Head Golf Professional Miles Blundell.
Dimples, official mascot of The Turning Stone Resort Championship, entertained the crowd.
The event was free for Oneida Nation Members, Health Center clients, family members and children enrolled in the Early Learning Center.
