Statement Regarding Recent Power Outage - 7/18/10
"Our casino experienced the power outage that affected our region. Turning Stone's back-up generators started immediately and provided a safe environment for our guests while we worked on restoring full power to the gaming floor and restaurants. Our emergency services were unaffected. The Oneida Nation Police, Turning Stone's Security Department and the management team all were present on-site throughout the outage to handle guest safety, limit problems from arising, and accommodate particular guest needs that arose as a result of the outage. Special events at Turning Stone, including two wedding receptions and several parties, took place with minimal interruption of our guests' experiences. We are examining our facilities and programs to determine what we can do in future incidents to further minimize any impact upon our guests."--Turning Stone Resort Media Relations
