Turning Stone Accepts AAA Four Diamond Awards
Only Resort in NY with Three Four Diamond Award Venues
In a ceremony at the Turning Stone Resort Casino Lodge, Oneida Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter accepted AAA Four Diamond Awards for Turning Stone’s Tower Hotel, Wildflowers Restaurant, and Lodge. Turning Stone holds the distinction as the only resort in New York State with three AAA Four Diamond venues on a single campus.
The Lodge received its seventh consecutive AAA Four Diamond rating, while the Tower Hotel and Wildflowers Restaurant each received their sixth in a row. Wildflowers is the only AAA Four Diamond restaurant in Central New York.
Wally Smith, Vice President of AAA Western and Central New York said, “It is no small success to achieve this exceptional recognition. AAA commends these properties for continuing to exceed our members’ and travelers’ expectations each and every day with outstanding service and amenities.”
Halbritter said, “Our success is attributed to an unending commitment to excellence and continued investment in making Turning Stone a unique world-class experience. That investment extends beyond the Resort across Central New York, benefiting the entire community. On behalf of our 4,500 employees who made today possible, I would like to thank AAA for this prestigious honor.”
Oneida County Tourism President Kelly Blazosky said, “Turning Stone's consistent levels of impeccable service and AAA Four Diamond Award recognition are marketable attributes key to Oneida County's tourism industry. We congratulate them for their excellence in hospitality.”
AAA’s Diamond Rating System is the only ratings system that covers all of North America and uses professionally-trained inspectors to evaluate each property using guidelines made available to all establishments. AAA evaluates more properties than any other rating entity.
