The partnership with StearClear allows guests of Turning Stone Resort Casino and Yellow Brick Road Casino to request a safe ride home—in their own vehicle.
In time for New Year’s Eve celebrations, the Oneida Nation has partnered with StearClear to offer guests a safe, innovative and cost-effective way to travel home after a fun night enjoying any of Turning Stone’s nightlife venues at its Exit 33 entertainment complex, and also from Yellow Brick Road Casino. StearClear offers the largest app-based designated driver network in the country, enabling users to request a safe ride home in their own car.
“In addition to the amenities that our guests enjoy at Turning Stone’s Exit 33 and Yellow Brick Road, we also want to ensure that guests have a safe, worry-free alternative to get home,” said Jerry Marrello, Director of Nightlife and Beverage Operations. “The safety of our guests is our top priority and we’re proud we can extend that beyond our properties with StearClear.”
Guests wishing to use this new service at either Turning Stone or Yellow Brick Road can request a pickup by downloading the StearClear mobile app and filling out a profile. Turning Stone and Yellow Brick Road Casino guests who take advantage of this service will receive a special discount— the Oneida Nation will pay the pick-up fee, leaving only the $2.65 per mile charge for the guest, a savings of up to $40.
“We are very excited about the launch of this partnership,” said Jeff Segar, president of StearClear. “Not only does it provide safe transportation to casino guests, it also opens the door for future opportunities by growing our services in this network.”
Both Turning Stone and Yellow Brick Road Casino are offering an extensive list of nightlife and entertainment options for New Year’s Eve, including special gaming sessions, live entertainment and multiple balloon drops, and now guests can enjoy the evening without the worry of who is the designated driver.
