Shako:wi turkey feather fan workshops
Participants will learn how to create a turkey feather fan inspired by Haudenosaunee culture and discover the significance of turkey feather use in social dances and regalia. Tuesday, January 20, Thursday, January 22 and Tuesday, 27, 2026 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ice Box Invitational hosted by the Mary C. Winder Community Center
Catch the non-stop action of box lacrosse at this youth tournament featuring local teams in the 18-and-under and 15-and-under divisions. Presented by Cross Hudson, LLC. Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, 2026
Shako:wi Cultural Center Spring festival
This free-to-attend event will feature several American Indian crafters and food vendors, plus Haudenosaunee social dance demonstrations. The Shako:wi Cultural Center will be open. Saturday, May 9, 2026 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oneida Indian Nation Foundation
Staying true to the principles of their ancestors, the Oneida Indian Nation Council established the Oneida Indian Nation Foundation to enhance the quality of life for those around them.
Building on the Oneida people’s long tradition of sharing their resources with others in need, the Foundation has long been dedicated to the charitable and civic causes of Central New York and throughout Indian Country.
Seeking to promote education, understanding and a high quality of living, the Oneida Indian Nation Foundation proudly provides support to veterans, child, family, animal, healthcare and other humanitarian organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation of CNY, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Liberty Resources.
