My Home: An Oneida Indian Legend is the story of a turtle who wakes up to find that a technology driven beaver has wreaked havoc on her home and environment. Using American Indian lessons, she finds ways to convince beaver that getting along and caring about the land he lives in is a better way. Based on an Oneida Indian Nation legend handed down from elder to child for centuries, this story highlights lessons of co-existing and caring for our environment.
