Reservations now open to “stay and play” at Point Place Casino Hotel’s soon to open lodge-style hotel

Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (Sept. 22, 2025) – The excitement is growing as tall as the evergreens at Point Place Casino Hotel in Bridgeport where there will soon be even more to experience at the casino’s great indoors. In the next phase of the $50 million expansion, Point Place Casino Hotel officially unveiled today it’s newest addition – The Forest Grill – a casual and rustic farm to fork American grill which takes inspiration from the beauty of Upstate New York wilderness. The restaurant is set to officially open November 19. In addition to revealing the much-anticipated restaurant, reservations are now open for Point Place Casino Hotel’s 99 room lodge-style hotel also set to open in November.

The Forest Grill will be a destination for both locals and visitors featuring an inviting and rustic ambiance echoing the evergreens and offering a cozy Adirondack-inspired retreat where guests can savor hearty comfort food and delicious drinks.

Standout Menu Items:

  • Starters: Parker House Rolls, Campfire Spinach Artichoke Dip, Crispy Fried Shrimp
  • Main Plates: Maple Miso Salmon, Braised Short Rib, New York Strip and Ribeye Steaks
  • Desserts: Brookies, Fresh Baked Peach and Blueberry Pie, Craft Ice Cream and more.
  • Cocktails, Wine and Beer: Drinks featuring a playful hint of the outdoors like herbal smoke or a garnish of foraged fruit and beer from Central New York’s thriving beer and scene.

Operating Hours:

  • Wednesday – Saturday: 4 P.M. to 10 P.M.
    Sunday: 3 P.M. to 9 P.M.

Reservations for the restaurant will open in October via OpenTable.

New Chef De Cuisine:
Local Syracuse Chef Josh White will serve as Chef De Cuisine for the restaurant. White, a graduate of the culinary program at SUNY Cobleskill, has led kitchens at local establishments including LM Social and Onondaga Country Club and most recently served as Chef De Cuisine for other large organizations.

The Point Place Casino Hotel expansion continues the Oneida Indian Nation’s commitment to economic development throughout its ancestral homelands and reinvestment in its enterprises and the region. This $50 million expansion is the latest in a series of investments by the Nation at Point Place Casino Hotel since its opening and part of the broader growth and diversification currently underway across the Nation’s enterprises, including the $370 million Turning Stone Evolution, new Verona Collective dispensaries and more.
