The Oneida Indian Nation was pleased to once again partner with the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley to help raise funds for their Purple Ribbon Campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. Donations totaling $5,701 were collected from the generous guests of the Nation’s SāvOn and Maple Leaf Market convenience stores throughout the month to support both the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley and the Liberty Resources Help Restore Hope Center. The proceeds will benefit both agencies’ domestic violence programs. YWCA of the Mohawk Valley provides crisis services and prevention in Oneida County, and the Liberty Resources Help Restore Hope Center serves Madison County.
