The fourth Maple Leaf Market store will be located at the intersection of Route 365 and Route 31 in Verona, currently one of Turning Stone Enterprises’ most popular SāvOn stores. Construction will begin this week and the store will remain open throughout.

Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (January 30, 2023) – Turning Stone Enterprises today announced plans for its fourth Maple Leaf Market store, which will be located at the intersection of Route 365 and Route 31 in Verona. The location is currently a SāvOn store and will be transformed into a Maple Leaf Market. Construction is underway and is scheduled to be completed by Labor Day. The store will remain open throughout the renovation. As one of Turning Stone Enterprises’ most popular convenience store locations, converting the store to a Maple Leaf Market will elevate the guest experience even more. The transformation to Maple Leaf Market will also align with the opening of the nearby Upstate Cancer Center in Verona.

The new location in Verona will be Turning Stone Enterprises’ largest convenience store to date and will build on everything guests love about Maple Leaf Market, expanding its unique offerings and amenities. The addition of an on-site kitchen will produce fresh meals, pizzas, paninis and more. These items will be offered alongside a diverse selection of food offerings from regional partners, as well as domestic and imported beer and all the essentials offered by other Maple Leaf Market stores.

The new Maple Leaf Market will be updated with additional checkouts to provide faster guest service. The on-site Dunkin’ Donuts and its drive-through will also be updated for more optimized traffic flow.

The SāvOn diesel station currently located across Route 31 will be moving to the new Maple Leaf Market as well, allowing for easier access for truckers. The diesel pumps will be in addition to regular gasoline pumps. At the current location of the diesel station on Route 31, Turning Stone Enterprises will be adding three new retail outlets. Additional details will be announced shortly.

Turning Stone Enterprises’ first Maple Leaf Market opened in Sherrill in November 2017, followed by the Chittenango store in February 2018 and the Sylvan-Verona Beach location in May of the same year. Over the last six years, Maple Leaf Market has become synonymous with fresh, quality food and elevated grab-and-go options.
