Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (December 1, 2020) – Turning Stone Enterprises announced today that it has upgraded the air filtration systems at all of its 16 SāvOn and Maple Leaf Market stores in Central New York.

These new state-of-the-art air filtration systems remove 99.4% of all viruses and bacteria from the air after just 30 minutes of being activated, and the units will run 24 hours a day at SāvOn and Maple Leaf Market stores.

Turning Stone Enterprises also installed additional air purifier units in the kitchen areas of the three Maple Leaf Markets, where culinary employees often work closely together. The air purifiers filter air six times an hour and breaks everything down to .007 microns, 10 times smaller than COVID-19.

The new air purifiers units were sourced from Healthway Products, a local Central New York company who has been at the forefront of the pandemic suppling units to hospitals in Wuhan and more than 10,000 portable units to New York City School District.

“The health and safety of our guests and employees remains our top priority and, just as this virus is constantly changing, we are also continually reevaluating our safety protocols to ensure the safest environment,” said Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter.
